I don't know about you guys but sourcing a father's day gift or making one has always been a tough task. My Dad is an avid reader and has a collection of books that he reads in the evening, He is always using scraps of paper to keep his page, instead of a decent bookmark so I thought I should make a fun one for him and share my craft here too.
To make our moustache bookmark:
YOU WILL NEED:
- Black card
- strong glue
Draw a moustache shape free-hand on to your card and a thin rectangle strip just like the image below then cut them out.
Glue the strip's edges to the back of the moustache shape leaving a gap for the book page's to fit through.
You can add tape to the back to make sure it sticks if your glue is not strong enough. When dry your moustache is good enough to give as a gift, maybe you could buy a book to go with the craft perhaps?
For a good gift idea, you could buy a book and add the bookmark inside. Why not add a personal message inside the book, which I think is a very heartfelt idea.
