I have a SHOCKING amount of confetti in my personal craft stash aka The cupboard and there was no other choice to make something with them, no, seriously... I was throwing them around like i didn't care.. allot! There is only so many confetti showers I can Make and tidy up afterwards. so I have come up with some fun D.I.Y uses for them:
To make Confetti wall art
YOU WILL NEED:
- Shadow box wall frame (we used an IKEA frame)
- Glass frame
- White card (to fit frame)
- Gold letter stickers
Measure a piece of card to fit inside the frame and start to glue confetti pieces around the perimeter, I did start with a colour pattern so there wasn't to many of the same colours matching right next to each other.
When you get to the middle of your card you don'y have to be so systematic in your placing of the confetti pieces and you can overlap and glue anywhere you like, whick makes it look like confetti has just been thrown all over the place,
With the gold peel off stickers choose a saying you would like. we used:
Make sure you keep it centered and stick down on top of your glued down confetti
The wall art is now ready to place inside the Ikea frame or shadow box frame. I also added some loose confetti inside so once hung will have a scattering of confetti across the bottom. It's all about the tiny details!
If you do not have a window box frame or want something smaller scale with less 'gluing' or faffing about then our mini confetti DIY may suit you:
These frames are so amazing and versatile the list is really endless what you can do with them! For a simple and stylish confetti hack this quick tutorial is definitely for you.
Simply open up the frame and place confetti inside (no gluing necessary) and close and secure, trapping your confetti inside!
Pin for later:
This would make an ideal gift for a friend, especially one that like to party!
