I was sent the most awesome and most bright and heart touching story about a little white curve who became the most colourful rainbow. It was written by Agnes Hsu from Hello Wonderful Craft blog and I was so inspired I wanted to create a craft to go with the book.
TO MAKE A POP UP RAINBOW CARD
You will need:
- A plain coloured card (I chose red)
- Rainbow pieces of paper
- White paper
- Black marker pen
- Rainbow coloured marker pens
I would say this book is for children younger than myself (I am 9 years old by the way) or those who enjoy picture books with short sweet stories and happy endings. The illustrations are beautiful and very inspiring.
Here is my video on how to make a pop up rainbow card:
The colourful images are just so beautiful and such a happy cheerful story! It really made me smile!
I have decided to donate this book to a local CAMHS centre as they have recently helped me in finding some resources for my autism and I noticed they didn't have many nice books there for children to read, and being in a waiting room is quite daunting and a book filled with so much happiness should make anyone's day.
To purchase the book via Amazon US or for other US and international orders visit Plaeful website.
Make sure to Pin this craft if you wish to make it for later;
