I love felt so much! It is my favorite medium to use when crafting, its so versatile and not to mention colourful! You should see how much of it I have, so there will be plenty more felt projects coming your way.
This would make a great D.I.Y for your bedroom or maybe as a gift, mothers day perhaps?
To make a felt flower photo holder:
You will need:
- Felt cut into flower shapes
- Colourful buttons
- Green straws
- Mini pegs
- PVA glue
We used a sizzix die cutter to cut out our felt flowers but you could easily use a free template and cut them out. You can use a google search to find lots of free flower outlines to print and cut or draw your own.
We spent some time deciding where to put the buttons but now we are happy with our selection and choice.
Next glue them in place either with a glue gun or PVA glue.
You will need to glue the mini pegs on to the backs of the felt flowers and the straws.
When dry add into a vase, you can use play doh to hold in place! We then added some coloured tissue paper to decorate.
We love how fun these look and how useful they are too! They look so nifty in my room, we really want to make more D.I.Y room decor crafts. Let us know in our comments what you would like to see next.
These would also make cute gifts for family members especially if you added an array of photos to them already. You could even add a large ribbon round the vase.
