This year the rise in advent toys and prizes have gone a little bit too big and the meaning of Christmas is becoming awash the simple fun of counting down the days has become too commercialized. I want the fun of Christmas with creativity being at its helm!
To make the Printable advent baubles:
YOU WILL NEED:
- A4 PRINTER PAPER X3 SHEETS
- COLOURING PENCILS
- SCRATCH OFF STICKERS (available via amazon or ebay)
HOW TO MAKE ADVENT BAUBLES:
Print out x3 A4 sheets of our bauble printable (template above) Colour in the baubles (there are a few spare just in case of mistakes, but you will only need 24) And cut each out individually.
Write messages, numbers or activities into the circles then stick on the scratch off stickers. If you do not want to use the stickers you could add on a paper flap to reveal the message or for much younger ones you could use a bingo marker to mark each day. These printable's are very versatile.
Make small holes at the top of the bauble's and thread the christmas cord through, you can either make loops and hang on a christmas tree or create a banner to hang on your wall.
Each day use a coin to rub off and reveal the message underneath the scratch off stickers. There is more magic in creativity, I adore my scratch off sticker advent calendar and it has been a tradition of our to make a different one each year.
