I love cooking and baking and I must admit we have a large quantity of cook books for kids at home, But when I was sent this book I wanted to make something straight away! I grabbed my chef hat and got straight to work.
All the pages are so clear and easy to read and the photographs looked amazing! I was able to bake more or less unaided apart from placing them in and out of the oven.
The baked book was easy to read and follow, I liked the layout of the text and how everything was given sections and evenly spaced out making it ideal for a range of ages to follow. We found it to be a fun mother and daughter activity and would definitely recommend the book for families.

It was great fun making the hamburger cakes, they looked too good to eat! I loved the book so in good old fashioned Chloe style I decided to make a short review on my YOUTUBE channel as I thought other children would enjoy the book as much as I did.
There were one or two ingredients we didn't have to hand which I made SURE to mention in the video above, but it just shows how easy it is to work with what you have to get similar results.

I think my batch of cute burger cakes don't look that bad for my first try and personally I was pretty pleased with the results. CI would really like to try the rainbow unicorn cake next as it looks super awesome!
Here is BKD video on how to make the hamburger (the recipe is available via the book)
Would love to know what you think of my version of the hamburger cakes and I hope you found my kid friendly review useful and have found yourself a great new family fun book to try and share with your family.
